Pool maintenance can be very costly, if you take matters in your own hands. The reason why i say this is because there are plenty of evidence out there . For example : You can bring in your water to a Leslies Pool store. They will tested and speak volumes of what you should do to it. And they are just looking at your water, they haven't realized any of the environmental factors, equipment, household size, water source, animals that come in for a swim , etc. Any pool supply store should be just a supplier, other wise one can quickly lose your wallet in there. We recommend that you consider your pool to be a a body of water with special needs that change from place to place.

My experience with pool maintenance.
There are several ways to come in and fully understand a pool. One way is to come from a spectator side and read about one and study as much as possible. The other is actually to build one and maintaining one . And of course, keeping up a pool with the least amount chemicals only possible with the least amount of influence from the supply stores. They simply need your money and will tell you plenty about what you need to dump in.
For my experienced, pool products are over priced and monopolized. Companies are set to make millions on pool products and don't care about anything else.
